This Is Not a Government or Law Enforcement Office. We run a private reference site. We cannot confirm whether a warrant exists, recall or clear a warrant, post bond, arrange a surrender, or give legal advice for anyone. For any of those, you need to reach the sheriff's warrant unit or the issuing court directly.
Need Official Warrant Information?
Use the record type and court name to choose the right Dallas County contact:
- County warrant status: call the Sheriff Warrant Execution Section at (214) 761-9026. Jail custody information is available at (214) 761-9025.
- Felony court records: contact the District Clerk at (214) 712-3088; criminal information is available at (214) 653-5964.
- County criminal court cases: contact the Dallas County Clerk Criminal Courts Division at (214) 653-7099.
- City or JP citation: contact the municipal or justice court printed on the citation. Those courts decide their own balances, settings, and warrant recall requests.
- Legal advice or a planned appearance: consult a Texas-licensed attorney and the issuing court. This site cannot arrange a surrender, accept bond, or clear an entry.
The Sheriff Warrant Execution Section is located at the Frank Crowley Courts Building, 133 N. Riverfront Boulevard, Dallas, TX 75207. Use the official Warrant Execution Section page for current instructions. A visit or call is not a substitute for contacting the issuing court about case terms.
For county public records, see the Dallas County open records page. Sheriff records requests may be submitted through the county GovQA portal or directed to the Sheriff’s Office, Open Records Request, #3110, 133 N. Riverfront Boulevard, LB-31, Dallas, TX 75207; fax (214) 653-3420. The Sheriff’s Office says a response may take up to ten business days. A public-record request does not create a court record, confirm live warrant status, or recall a warrant.
